Grael's beloved "pet." It's true, she's a spell.... no one knows exactly what gender it is, but it sounds decidedly female - though he's the only one that's heard her "speak." Her name is derived from the Sliph connecting Wizard's Keep and The Old World (or anywhere else the spell wishes to travel), simply because of the sound of her voice and her shape. The spell is a long snakelike shadow, often having ribbons of midnight blue running along her length. Aside from beauty, she also has a very good use. To anyone else, her touch is harmless, but to lee...ur.... Kindred it's like sandpapered sunlight. Wouldn't recommend letting her slip through you either....
